UPDATE – The Chilli Cook-Off is not happening this year

You may have noticed that there has been no advertising for the Chili Cook-Off in the local papers or on our social media. That is because the BIA had to make a call to not host the cook-off this year.

Many of our regular participants had other commitments this weekend and were not available to attend with their amazing chilli. Unfortunately, we just can’t do it without them.

There is interest in moving the date to October when the weather is a little more “chilli” but it can’t be done this year. Something to look out for next year.

There are still lots of things to do in Port Perry this weekend – Shopping in our Historic Downtown, the Port Perry House Tour and Winding Roads!
