Port Perry Business Improvement Association (BIA)
Downtown Port Perry is more than shopping - it is an experience; one that attracts thousands of visitors each year. The pristine Victorian architecture is what gives our downtown its unique charm. The historic buildings host an eclectic mix of business including retail merchants, restaurants, attractions, financial institutions and professional services.
The Port Perry BIA was established in 1989 under a Provincial Municipal act. The businesses (commercial and/or industrial) located in Downtown Port Perry, from Mary Street to Simcoe Street to North Street to Water Street, make up our Business Improvement Area (BIA). These building & store owners contribute funds, independently, which their elected BIA Board of Directors facilitates, towards the maintenance, beautification, flower baskets in the Downtown along with events presented by the BIA and advertising to create awareness of our beautiful community.
This dedicated group of entrepreneurs is committed to making every visit to Downtown Port Perry an experience to remember. From the beautifully appointed facades and window displays to the friendly, personalized service, we savour every moment you spend with us.
Port Perry promises the perfect day trip for anyone looking to indulge in a little shopping or entertainment. One stroll down our Victorian streets lined with beautiful shops on the shores Lake Scugog will have you "Relaxed, restored and rejuvenated!"
We encourage you to experience Downtown Port Perry...."Life as it should be!"
