Jul 17, 2020News

We are very excited to announce that for four weekends starting on Saturday, July 25th Queen Street will be opened to pedestrians as a public space.

Both the BIA and the Township of Scugog have committed to surveying businesses and people on the street and to quickly respond to any issues that we might encounter. We welcome all feedback, please send your comments and questions to: info@discoverportperry.ca

Where?

  • Queen Street between Perry Street and Water Street
  • The north side of Queen Street from John Street to Perry Street

Why?

To allow for increased social distancing and keep our community safe.

When?

Saturdays and Sundays, for four weeks starting on Saturday, July 25th. This plan also includes the holiday Monday – August 3rd.

How?

This project has been planned in partnership with the Township of Scugog. Signage and roadblocks will be installed early on Saturday mornings and taken down on Sunday evenings.
