While here enjoy boutique shopping, a friendly atmosphere, and extraordinary dining experiences.

Here is a list of the top-rated activities to do this fall in historic Downtown Port Perry.  Your next adventure awaits!

Take a tour of Downtown Port Perry by bike! There are several routes with beautiful views of the waterfront and historic buildings. Your ride will be filled with sightseeing and photo opportunities.

Waterfront Walk

Some of the greatest views in Downtown Port Perry can be found along the waterfront. Have we mentioned that already? The waterfront trail system includes beautiful sights of Lake Scugog, with access points off Queen Street, Mary St, and Casimir St.

You can walk, bike, or jog along this trail, which is about 5 km long. The trail surface is lime-stoned based, paved, and covered in wood chips in some areas.

While you’re walking you will see baseball diamonds, tennis courts, the iconic old mill, and Palmer Park. Stop off on the trail to take pictures of the lake and the surrounding area. Many photographers and artists have been inspired by the beauty the waterfront offers including Group of Seven artist, Tom Thomson.

The trail system starts from Highway 7A (behind VOS Independent Grocer) and continues to Scugog Line 8 (just north of Canterbury Common).
